Everything on Verdict is provided as-is, for general information only. It is not financial, legal, or professional advice.
Tool statuses change. Before you act on a listing, check the primary source and the date shown next to it.
How statuses are set
A status of dead or sunset-announced is set by a human editor after checking evidence, never by a script. An outage is not a death. Reachability is re-checked twice a day from two independent servers.
Even so, a listing can be wrong or out of date. Verdict makes no warranty that any status, date, or link is accurate, current, or complete.
Ranking and affiliate links
Some links to tools pass through a /go/ redirect and are marked rel="sponsored nofollow". Where Verdict earns a commission, it is disclosed on the disclosure page.
Ranking is by relevance and live status. Affiliate availability and commission never affect inclusion, a verdict, or a position. A tool with no affiliate program is judged by the same criteria.
Links to other sites
External links point to third-party services that Verdict does not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, pricing, terms, or availability.
Reusing the data
The dataset covers which tools are dead, sunset, or declining, with their dates and sources. It is reusable under CC BY 4.0 with attribution.
There is a free JSON status API at /api/v1/status/{slug} with no key required, and a plain-text mirror at /api/md/.
The site text, the editorial write-ups, and the design are not covered by that license. They stay under normal copyright and are not free to reuse.
