What GetResponse is

What sets it apart Built-in webinar hosting (live and automated) integrated into the email and automation platform, which most email marketing tools do not offer natively

Best for Solo operators, small businesses, and course creators who want email marketing, automation, and webinars from a single platform rather than separate tools · Pricing model Freemium subscription. A forever-free plan covers up to 500 contacts; paid plans start around $19/month (Starter) and scale with contact-list size, with discounts for annual and multi-year billing. Webinar hosting is included on a higher tier (Creator, roughly $69/month).

Founded in Poland in 1998, GetResponse runs email campaigns and automation workflows alongside landing pages, sales funnels, and built-in webinar hosting in a single subscription. The native webinar feature, which supports both live and automated sessions, sets it apart from most email tools that stop at campaigns and contact lists. Pricing starts with a free tier capped at 500 contacts and rises to paid plans from about $19 per month that scale with list size, with webinar hosting reserved for a higher tier. It suits solo operators, small businesses, and course creators who prefer to run email, automation, and webinars through one vendor.

What the free plan really caps, whether your data can leave, and how cancelling works. Each fact read on GetResponse's own pages, linked below.

Free plan limits

The pricing page lists no permanent free plan, only a 14 day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial ends without upgrading, premium features are lost. The cheapest paid plan is Starter at $19 net per month for up to 1,000 contacts, or $15.58 net per month on annual billing.

Cancellation

Cancellation is self serve under Profile > My payments > Cancel plan, and only works in a browser, not in the mobile app. The account stays active until the end of the paid billing period. GetResponse states it does not issue refunds, even if you cancel right after being charged for a new billing period.
