Migrating off Coqui (2026)
Coqui has shut down. Here is what it means for your data and billing, and the live alternatives to move to.

What this means
The service is no longer operating. Move your workflow before you lose access.
Commercial services (Coqui Studio, API, paid tiers) were discontinued in Jan 2024; export any generated audio and voice assets before account access ends. The open-source XTTS/TTS code and models remain downloadable on GitHub for self-hosting (now community-maintained forks), or migrate cloned voices and scripts to ElevenLabs or Play.ht.
Migration checklist
- Export your data now: files, content, records, anything you cannot recreate.
- Save billing and invoice history for your records.
- Export API keys, webhooks, and integration config before access ends.
- List the workflows and integrations you actually depend on.
- Pick a live replacement below that matches how you use it.
- Recreate and test one critical workflow on the replacement first.
- Cancel the old subscription so you are not billed again.
- Revoke the old API keys and remove stored credentials.
